Our gratitude to the musicians, venue owners and others who have made this wonderful evening possible. Thanks to their generosity, nearly 100% of ticket sales will directly go to our Ninos y Naturaleza program.

An evening of music to bring us together for nature & children.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of our Niños  y Naturaleza program and bringing people together to unite around our shared desire to empower local children to rise to the environmental challenges ahead through resiliency, values and understanding.

THE EVENT

Pack a yummy picnic, your favorite beverage and you will be all set for a wonderful evening of music in a beautiful amipitheater setting overlooking the Picacho mountains.

There will be tables and chairs, first come, first serve, but the grass is lovely for laying out a blanket and there are plenty of cushioned bench seats for all.  Be sure to arrive early to secure a perfect spot for you and your friends.  Doors open at 5:30 pm.

Limited parking is available.  Taxis and Ubers are encouraged.  Our staff can call a taxi for you for your trip back to town.

THE LOCATION

Only a short distance from Mac Hospital, the Sunset Theater is a private venue with lush landscaping and an outstanding view of the mountains. Tiered seating areas descend to the stage and dance floor.

THE MUSIC

Music starts at 5:45 with Alain Arroyo, a Sunset Theater favorite, performing a few songs to get the evening started.

The firey Felicia Ford will take the stage at 6 pm, to sing and play a few of her favorite songs. Felicia’s singing career has taken her across seas and to almost every state in the U.S., singing in many of the most prestigious theaters in America and her voice has been heard in over 157 countries over the air world-wide.

Karen Libby, joined by Geoff Wadsworth on sax and flute, and Alain Arroyo on Cajón and vocals will take the stage at 6:45 pm.  Karen is a classically-trained pianist and vocalist, who has been singing since the age of 5. She spent several years on the road with a rock band as a keyboard player and lead vocalist. Now she plays the music she loves and that we love to listen and dance to.

All of these talented musicians are donating their talent and time to this evening in support of the children.
